During my day yesterday I noticed at one point that Yev, the social media guru from Backblaze, was going to be on Ask Tuaw. Since I was just sitting here coding a clients website yesterday I hopped on the live Google+ Hangout stream and listened in while I worked.

The bonus of sitting in and listening was catching this segment about Backblaze launching a new user referral program. The program is not actually live yet but is still in testing. When it does start it sounds like Backblaze customers can refer new users to the service and in exchange both get a free month.

This is a separate program from the Backblaze affiliate program (that I am a part of by the way). If you are a Backblaze user and want to get some free months of service in exchange for referring your friends and family this could be a great way to do it.
