Yes, there are several online storage systems, so what makes Box.net different from the rest? The answer is that it utilizes Web 2.0. It has AJAX, tags, RSS feeds, Flash, and a very nice interface.

The interface is one feature that is surely going to put a huge smile on your face. All you have to do is drag and drop, and even hide elements of the sidebar. The entire interface is interactive. Along with being a very attractive interface is truly serves the purpose. Just click the down arrow and you will see the menu that lets you rename, tag, or other tasks. Another feature that is truly amazing is the live search, which will change the files in your display window as you type to help you find all the files you desire.

Uploading on any online storage system can be difficult, but with Bon.net, uploading is done through the AJAX interface making it a breeze. Uploading your files will be as simple as browsing with operating system open interface or using the java applet to drag and drop. Using the drag and drop method you do not have to search through all your folders to find the files you want to upload. All you have to drag it from its current location.

Downloading is just as easy as uploading as all you have to do is click the arrow on any file in your account and then select download. You may wish not to download as Box.net has other ways in which you can view your files without downloading. If you are searching for audio files, you can use the Flash audio player or photos you can use the slideshow.

Sharing files is often a very important aspect when it comes to online storage systems and Box.net offers a simple method, just click on the menu to any file and then select share. Box.net will then automatically create an URL to give to others you wish to share the file.
