AVG LiveKive Announced

The online backup world got a little more crowded today with the official launch of AVG LiveKive. I have been a fan of AVG Antivirus software for awhile so it is an interesting move to move into the online backup, sharing and syncing world. LiveKive is currently available for Windows and Mac computers at packages start at 25GB’s for $49.99 for a year.

The service has a decent set of features including backup, sharing and sync so they are going up against several more established services like SpiderOak and SugarSync. There is also mention of iPhone, iPad and Android apps to access your files from your mobile devices.

Already starting a review of the new service so check back soon to see how it stacks up. Until then check out their YouTube video below.

Update: I missed the free version that gets you 5gb of free space.

After installing AVG LiveKive is obviously a SpiderOak partner. Check out this side by side screenshot of SpiderOak and AVG LiveKive.
