ElephantDrive announced recently on their blog that they are available as an app for installation on the Drobo 5N NAS. There are several services that are listed here at Cloud Storage Buzz that offer NAS backup but most of them offer the ability to backup a network drive and are not actually apps you can install on the NAS device itself.
ElephantDrive is a leader in NAS backup and can be installed as an app on many NAS devices including devices the Netgear ReadyNAS, QNAP TurboNAS, Drobo NAS and Thecus NAS. Having the NAS backup directly to ElephantDrive makes it easy to know that your files are safely stored not just on your local device but also in the cloud.
You can still install the app on your desktop or laptop and backup the files from your computer as well but if you have a Drobo 5N NAS you might want to look into installing the ElephantDrive app on your device to have piece of mind knowing your files are safely backed up.
