Mover.io Offering Free Backups for World Backup Day 2014

Mover.io Screen

Got a friendly email from Eric over at Mover.io that they are taking part in World Backup Day this year. They are offering users an extra 15GB of transfer bandwidth, so that would give you a total of 25GB to use their service with. All you need to do is help spread the word about their service a little with a Tweet or a Facebook share. You can check out all the details on the Mover.io blog post.

Mover.io is a very interesting service, it is not really a cloud backup or storage service, but it helps move your data between your cloud services. Want to move all your files from Dropbox to Copy.com, they can do that. Want to backup your WordPress MySQL database to Google Drive they can do that as well. Looks like they have 22 services that they can move files between now including FTP, SugarSync, Dropbox, Egnyte, Dreamhost, Media Temple, Box and even Smugmug to name a few. It is a very interesting service and one that many people and businesses could use to save time and money transferring files around from cloud to cloud.

I first came across them when I was researching the 10 Cloud Storage Managers post. They were called orginally called BackupBox and I have been wanting to review them for the site. Now that I have 25GB of free transfer I will have to make sure I get that review done and posted.

Until I get that review done feel free to go get a free account and the extra 15GB of transfer before World Backup day ends and easily transfer your files between clouds.
