It was only a couple of weeks ago that Mozy released thier iOS app for iPhones and iPads. Thankfully Android users did not have to wait months and months for Mozy to release an official Andoid app.
MozyHome users in the United States and Canada can now find the official Mozy app in the Android Market to install on thier mobile devices. If you were using the beta of the app you should uninstall it before installing the new app from the market. The app allows you to do the same kinds of things the iOS app does. Access and download your backed up files to your mobile device, open those files on your mobile, share tthem with your friends on Facebook and even email them.
This helps to bring Mozy up to compete with other online backup services that offer mobile access like Carbonite, SpiderOak, SugarSync and IDrive.
