Mozy has entered the mobile app market with the release of their official Mozy App for iPhone and iPads. The app is available for users in Canada and the US in iTunes App Store. You can read more about the app on the Mozy blog.
The app allows users of MozyHome access to all of their backed up files as well users can email a file, open files in other applications, and view photos and sharing them to Facebook. Mozy plans to update the app regularly so look for more features coming soon.
While the feature set is small for now, the fact that Mozy has offered the ability to email files from your backup is interesting. Possibly the first step to allow sharing of files from your backup? I guess we will have to wait and see.
The Mozy Android app is already in beta, so look for news of that being released soon.
