Happy World Backup Day! This is one of my favorite days of the year because it helps draw attention to the fact that people need to remember to not only backup their computers, smartphones and tablets but that they should also check their backups and make sure that they know how to restore their data from the backup as well. A backup is only as good as the ability to restore from the backup.
World Backup Day put together a video this year that I thought was quite good. I have embedded it below so you can check it out.
In past years there were often some great deals to be had on World Backup Day, like unlimited SpiderOak accounts, promos on CrashPlan and even specials on Carbonite.
This year I have not heard about many special offers yet, but there are a few. Here are a few I have heard of that you might want to keep you eye open for.

I was very impressed with the new Acronis True Image when I tried it and they are definitely worth a try.
CloudBerry
CloudBerry is offering 50% off CloudBerry Box until April 2, 2023 for World Backup Day!
CloudBerry products are all very good, but you do need to bring your own cloud storage. Most of their products work great with Amazon S3 and other large cloud storage providers like Google Cloud (not necessarily Google Drive but some do). I recommend using the free trials they offer to see if their products are the best fit for you.
IDrive
While not directly related to World Backup Day, except that everyday should be World Backup Day, our 75% off IDrive promotion is still available giving you a great deal on IDrive for World Backup Day. This one ends at midnight on March 31st so act quick before it is gone.
Backblaze
I have not heard anything official from Backblaze, but they tend to let others run some of their promos now, like offering Black Friday deals to Cloud Storage Buzz. For World Backup Day it looks like Appsumo is offering a one year deal of Backblaze for $25.00. If you want to get a good deal on Backblaze head over to Appsumo.
