Norton has announced version 2 of the Norton Online Backup software with some major enhancements. Norton version 2.0 is now available for both Windows and Mac computers, including support for Mac OS X Snow Leopard, email sharing of backed up files and 90 day file versioning (Mozy for example only offers 30days). Pricing is still $49.99 per year, which includes 25 gigabytes of online storage space. Still short of services like Mozy, Carbonite and Backblaze that offer unlimited storage space. The release of Norton Online Backup certainly does improve Norton’s online backup service. I will be updating the review with some of the new details soon.
The official press release is included below for your reading.
