SOS Online Backup for Mac Released

Looks like SOS Online Backup has officially released their Mac client. As I mentioned in an earlier post about SOS Online Backup the Mac client was coming. Nice to see it actually arrive.

Considering how well the SOS Online Backup works on Windows it will be interesting to try the new Mac client. Next time I have a Mac available to work on I will have to give it a try. Until then here are some of the features of the Mac version.

Smart Scanner – A smart scanner preset to find the important files that should be protected.
Automatic Protection – Automatic protection to the cloud of the files found by the scanner.
Automatic Backup – Automatic regular backups to find files that have been added or changed and to back those up to the cloud too.
Manage your Backup – Links to MyAccount to manage your cloud backups, to upgrade your account for more storage, to sign up for a new account.
Back Up to 5 MACs – SOS lets you backup up to five devices (both PCs and Macs) with one, simple account.
Easy File Sharing – Any of your backed up files can be shared with an email address. Never worry about large email attachments!
Access Your Files on the Web – All data you backed up with SOS can be accessed from any browser. Just login to SOS!
SOS iPhone App – Access and backup all of your files (including contacts and photos) anytime, anywhere from your iOS mobile device.
