CarotDAV
CarotDAVThis is the only Windows desktop application I found that can help you manage multiple cloud storage services. The application is free for personal and commercial use but if you use it and find it useful you can donate to help with development. The website says it runs on Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7.
It supports:

  • FTP
  • SkyDrive
  • Dropbox
  • Google Drive
  • Box
  • SugarSync

BusyFlow
BusyFlowBusyFlow is not specific to managing cloud storage but about managing your cloud apps but you can use it to manage your cloud storage. They offer a free and paid plans. The free plan limits you to three users and one hive (a workspace you where multiple cloud services can be added). Paid plans start at $19.00/month.

According to the website it integrates:

  • Trello
  • Google Tasks
  • Basecamp
  • with Evernote, Box, Remember The Milk and Yammer coming soon.

IFTTT
IFTTTIFTTT (If This Then That) lets you create connections between cloud services of all kinds. Connections between cloud storage services is just one of the powerful things you can do with IFTTT. You can connect a large selection of services together to do all types of things. You can easily connect your Dropbox account and Google Drive to sync files between them and then even have it tweet you that it did it. It is a pretty amazing service that I actually use to help connect some of my social media accounts. It is currently free and in beta. I could not find any information on what pricing might be for the service once it comes out of beta.

Zapier
ZapierI discovered Zapier after I found IFTTT and they are very similar services. Zapier offers the same type of simple connections to automate things between cloud services. You can easily connect your cloud storage services and have Zapier perform a task between them. They offer a free version that limits how many tasks and actions you can perform. Paid plans start at $15.00/month. It looks like they have a larger number of cloud services you can connect to but for cloud storage services they list many of the same ones IFTTT offer. They do seem to offer a more sophisticated service, for example I was able to connect my Dropbox account to Box and copy files from any folder in Dropbox to any folder in Box. In IFTTT I was limited to copying files only from the Dropbox public folder.

BackupBox
BackupBoxThis company is based out of Edmonton Alberta and lets you transfer files between services including:

  • Dropbox
  • AmazonS3
  • Google Drive
  • Box
  • SkyDrive
  • and things like (S)FTP servers and databases

They offer a limited free plan with paid plans starting at $20.00/month. They are one of the few services that support copying data from web servers and databases like MySQL. The service would be great to backup your website files and database information to your favorite cloud service. They are also the only service I know of that is working on a connection to Kim Dotcom’s MEGA.
