Came across a recent news release about IDrive recently passing 500,000 users. There is no doubt that online backup is a growing field. IDrive is certainly a leader with their software and some of the unique features like IDrive Portable and recently adding IDriveSync and the IDrive Plugin for WordPress to their product lineup. I have still not had a chance to try IDriveSync but have heard good things about it already. Whether it can stack up to Dropbox, perhaps the biggest leader in sync, is the question. It is certainly good news that IDrive has grown to over 500,000 users though gives them more stability as a company for future users.

IDrive Online Backup Exceeds 500,000 User Base
