Back at the end of January 2011 Mozy did away with their unlimited online backup package and raised the cost of the new packages. At the time it was only the US service that had the new packages and rates. The time has come for all of the local Mozy services to join with their US based service. Mozy no longer offers an unlimited package in the UK, Ireland or Germany. The packages are the same as the US version of a 50GB account for one computer or a 125GB account for three computers.
While the new packages for the US based service were not popular with users, Mozy now can offer several other new features along with the price increase. Namely new mobile apps and a new and better web restore feature. They are also planning on releasing a new syncing feature shortly.
