There are not very many people happy about Mozy’s new backup plans. Mozy’s own community support forum, at the time of this writing, has 935 replies. The majority of those negative. A quick search of Twitter for Mozy also shows a large number of Tweets that are negative focused at Mozy.
Of course the users on Twitter and on the Mozy Forum are the loudest users. These are the users that most likely referred others to Mozy and are now the most upset by the change. They are most likely the users that are the power users that store a large amount of data that Mozy seems to want to have move on, but has Mozy underestimated they word of mouth of those power users to refer people?
