Kabooza – A Really Simple Online Backup

Just heard about this new online backup service called Kabooza via Startupmeme. The online backup space just got a little more crowded with Kabooza offering unlimited backup, but at 25gb per month per user. If I understand that correctly that would mean if you have 100gb to backup you will have to wait 4 months to send it all up to them. They do not offer any free trials or free accounts so the only way to test the service out is to pull $49.95 for year. They do offer a 100 day money back guarantee, but that is a lot of money to put out of pocket to just try the service when you can try most services for free.

They offer file sharing as well as backup. Including a private online photo albums that you can share your all your photos with your friends and family. Currently only available for Windows users the Mac and Linux crowd will have to wait for a software client before being able to use the service.

Kabooza

I will have to keep my eye on the service. It would be nice if they offered a free trial so people could test out the service to find out if it truly is “really simple online backup”.
