Code 42 Software Rebrands CrashPlan PRO to CrashPlan PROe

The rebranding initiative is focused on more clearly identifying CrashPlan PROe as an enterprise-grade solution, while also making way for Code 42‚Äôs soon-to-be-released product, aimed directly at the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market.

The product shift leaves an opening for Code 42‚Äôs new product, for the SMB market. The new backup product, which will be available later this month, will assume the name “CrashPlan PRO‚Äù and is intended to serve the backup needs of businesses with up to 200 computers.
